Registry Checklists

Get these 8 checklists to help you create your OWN unique baby registry!

Don't waste your time building out excessive baby registries on Amazon, Babylist, and Target by following their templates. Honestly, they just want you to register for more, more, more. Because when you register for more, they make more $$$.

I'm a mom of 8 and have created these lists based on my own experience over the years. I created these lists after spending some time really thinking through what I ACTUALLY use in the first 12 months of baby's life. You may (or may not!) be surprised that it's not NEARLY the amount of stuff the registry apps are telling you.

By using these checklists you can focus on getting more quality items rather than just loads of stuff. Quality over quantity, yeah? I have found over the years as I am raising my kids that I'd rather have a few pieces that I really love and use over and over again than LOTS of pieces that get used a few times and then tossed because they are cheap.

Here are the 8 categories covered in the checklists:

  • Baby Care
  • Breastfeeding
  • Clothing
  • Food/Eating
  • Gear
  • Postpartum Care
  • Sleep
  • Toys

What Other Expecting Moms Are Saying:

I spent SO MUCH TIME making my registries on the big sites online. I'd add things, subtract and then add again. Honestly, I wanted to "complete my registry" because the incentive of completing it (and getting the goodie box) felt so accomplishing. But really, I wasted so much time and I realize now that I could do away with at least half of the stuff on my registry. I just "didn't know what I didn't know" and wish I would have had someone to walk me through this stage. Then I came across Megan's checklists and thought, "Wow, these are brilliant!" I like that they give me the freedom to pick items that I want, but they lay out for me what I really need and how many of each item (so helpful in the clothing category!)
